Swamis Jyotish and Devi trained under and worked with Swami Kriyananda, a direct disciple of Yogananda and the founder of Ananda, a global network of spiritual communities. Since Swami Kriyananda's passing in 2013 they serve as the spiritual directors of Ananda and travel throughout the United States, India, and Europe speaking on spiritualizing daily life and the practice of Kriya Yoga meditation. In 2017, they received the UN Global Ambassador of Peace award for Ananda's work in nurturing peace and harmony.

Yogacharya Ellen Grace O’Brian is the founder and Spiritual Director of Center for Spiritual Enlightenment (CSE) in San Jose. She was ordained to teach in 1982 by Roy Eugene Davis, a direct disciple of Yogananda. She is an international speaker and the author of many books and audio programs, including her most recent book of poetry, The Moon reminded Me.
CSE is a meditation center and spiritual community in the tradition of Kriya Yoga, that serves people from all faith backgrounds who are seeking Self- and God-realization.
Science and Meditation: Miracles Proved

For thousands of years great spiritual teachers of all religions have proclaimed that meditation is the way to optimal health of body, mind, and soul. In the last two decades, Neuroscience has begun to show us some of the underlying changes that occur in the brain as a result of meditation. Some of these studies suggest that meditating for as little as 20 minutes daily can affect the function and structure of the brain in a positive way and that meditating for even short periods daily can have profound effects on many and varied medical and psychiatric conditions.
Dr. Shanti Rubenstone, Stanford trained and practicing internist, educator and long time meditator shares fascinating scientific evidence on the effects of meditation.
Dr Shanti Rubenstone is a Board certified internist who received her medical degree from Stanford University in 1983. After finishing her medical training and a chief medical residency she began what soon became one of the largest general internal medical practices in the country, always with the intention of caring for the whole person.
Shanti has been a teacher/educator throughout her professional career. She has taught and lectured throughout the US at various medical schools and as a public speaker in many venues, in all areas of wellness.
Shanti is also a minister and co spiritual director of the Ananda Church of Self Realization in Palo Alto, CA.

Asha Nayaswami is a founder and co-spiritual director of Ananda Palo Alto, a spiritual center and residential community in the heart of silicon valley. Prior to that, she was one of the founding members of Ananda Village, a rural cooperative community in Sierra Nevada foothills, from where started a global spiritual movement based on the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda. She served closely and trained under Swami Kriyananda, a direct disciple of Yogananda.
Asha is an international speaker who has traveled widely in the US, Europe and India and is the author of three books.
